A quick tutorial on how to use the new features in Revit 2013. Have you updated to the newest version? This is a quick tutorial on how to use the new features that are now included in all versions of Revit 2013, including 32-bit and 64-bit versions. -Select required view. -Go to the Insert tab, locate the new section Tags category, click Tags, select Create Panel Schedule. -The Create Panel Schedule dialog will be open. Choose the correct column format for your data. In this example is used the Full column format. Your panel schedule column data will be aligned with the first column of your panel schedule, by default it’s “Type” column (see image below), but you can choose differently if you like (e.g. name of panel components etc.). Click OK button to continue. -The panel schedule will be created, inside the panel schedule tags (see image below) you’ll see all panel schedule columns with the data like in the example below. -You can edit them editing the entries directly inside the panel schedule tag, or if you prefer to edit them one by one click on Edit button located at top of column. If you want to delete any column just select it and click Remove button at rightside of “Type” column. Be careful, removing columns can cause unpredictable results, so be careful! -You can copy entire column or selected entries by using “Copy to Clipboard” button at rightside of “Type” column. -The above image shows how column can be selected and moved within the cell, just as if it were a normal drawing sheet. -You can place more than one tag of this kind in a cell. If you want to place more than one tag of this kind (here (a) and (b)) inside a single row, you must make sure that each row has two columns. The header and footer for this row must be identical to the one used for the first row, while the other rows can have different headers and footers. The header and footer columns will determine where (and where not) other tags will be placed. -You can format the text of your panel schedule tags in the same way as you would with any text in Revit, including adding line breaks, bullets, etc. -You can also customize the header and footer of your panel schedule tags.
